Thoughts on OpenAI Acquiring Astral and uv/Ruff/Ty
Notes: I’m a little worried about uv. It truly solved so many problems with the Python packaging ecosystem that I would hate to go back. The acquisition seems to be in the same spirit as Anthropic’s acquisition of Bun. Is this the beginning of a new era of developer tooling funding and acquisition? Which VC-backed devtools startup would you bet on next?
Markdown as a Protocol for Agentic UI
Notes: For those building chat applications, this is an interesting approach to Generative UI.
pablodelucca / pixel-agents: Pixel Office
Notes: Is everything just a game now?
ComposioHQ / agent-orchestrator: Orchestrator for Parallel Coding Agents
Notes: Yet another coding agent orchestration framework.
hardikpandya / stop-slop: A Skill File for Removing AI Tells From Prose

The AI Shift: Is This the ‘Take Off’ Moment for AI Agents?

Welcome to Paris, the City That Said No to Cars
Notes: I had the chance to experience many of these improvements in Paris last year. It definitely felt significantly more human-scale than my previous visit over a decade ago.
